The National Center for Civil and Human Rights has a new virtual home. How do you like it? What you see today is the beginning of a process to provide the public with more information in a more readily accessible format than ever before. It has a new look, a new structure and, behind the scenes, the capability to grow in to the virtual information hub and online homebase for the completed Center. Eventually you’ll be able to buy tickets, see sample exhibitions, connect with other users and download educational materials.
Today we’re excited about the refreshed look, the easily accessible social networking features, and the one-stop event registration for our program offerings. When we break ground we’ll unveil an live feed construction camera so you can check on our progress periodically. Stay tuned for a teacher’s area, updated exhibition details, and interactive fundraising metrics.
We’re in a soft-launch period for a couple of weeks while we refine each page, so this is time to give us feedback. Leave a comment about what we’re doing right, what else you want to see, or any problems you encounter. The website is for you, our fans and supporters, so we appreciate your feedback and will give it due consideration.
