New Funding Demonstrates the Blank Foundation’s Continued Commitment and Support of the Center’s Vision to Present Civil and Human Rights History.
Atlanta, GA – March 8, 2013 – The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, received $1.5 million in new funding from The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. This funding represents a continued commitment by the Blank family to support the Center -- increasing the Foundation’s total commitment to $2.5 million. It also reflects the Blank family’s reverence for the legacy of civil rights and the movement’s substantial impact on providing equal rights for all people. In appreciation of this commitment, the Civil Rights Gallery in the Center will be named in honor of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation.
